First German Building Society
The idea of specific saving for the own home had the former pharmacist Georg Kropp (1865-1943).
He founded in 1921 the society "Gemeinschaft der Freunde", (Community of friends) which took up the work as building society in 1924.
The museum is situated in a farmhouse from the 18th century.
